Nominations - Most "Over-Rated" Film of 2005

    Place your vote here for what you consider was the most over-rated movie of 2005. What movie was everyone else raving about and you couldn't see what any of the fuss was about. What movie was getting far too much undue praise?

    To be eligible, the film must have been released on Irish cinema screens during the year 2005 (or up to the final date of closing of nominations). Each voter can only nominate a maxiumum of two titles for this category only. Any further ones shall be ignored.

    afaik, most people who saw it got it from the dvd sent over by their japanese cousins. it wasn't even screened there.

    "Crash" definetely - very much with Raoul Duke there.

    Also going with "2046" which was rated far too highly by critics, IMHO.

    1) 2046 . Totally overrated tripe.
    2) Batman begins. Good for first half of film, second half left it down with corny plot. Didn't hold up well to repeat viewing I thought.
