how long have you had it pierced??
Can't say I ever got a lump on my own when I got it pierced or after.
I remember though, I did get a little white mouth ulcer thing next to the ball alright on the under side, but there was no lump...
I can't really say what it is, without little information. But if it's only frshly pierced and is still healing it might just be a little irratated.
Or maybe the bar needs to be changed to a longer one to accomadate the swelling.
Keep cleaning it twice a day anyway.

it's a really bad sign when you get one of those. It shows signs of infection cause usually by not looking after it properly, usually though you'll have to go to the doctor about the lump cos they will advise you on the best course of action to get rid of it.
In all reality the piercer should have explained about what a lump appearing on a tongue piercing means and how serious it is.

Thats a good diagnosis without seeing it at all saladfingers, some good doctoring there all right. Now for my diagnosis it could be a number of things, over production of scar tissue (not a keloid) could just be your jewelery is the wrong size, could be the placement of the piercing, could be nothing to worry about the only way to know for sure is to get someone to check it out if it starts getting bigger other if not stick with porn stars advice

I had that. Showed up about 3 weeks after I got it done. It's basically just an over-production of scar tissue. I went to the piercers about it and they recommended a few things, which didn't really help. Fortunately, I just happened to start using Euthymol toothpaste(it's this pink toothpaste, that's kinda old fashioned, very strong and stings like a muttha!), and it was gone within a week. So that's what I recommend. Obviously if it doesn't help get back to your piercer about it.

Oh something else I remember now. Fella in Ms. Fantasia's (not the place I got it done) recommended this stuff Adcortal in Orabase. You need a prescription for it though, so if you know a friendly doctor who won't give out yards for having it in the first place, talk to them aswell. But do the euthymol first anyway.

Hope that helps and it clears up soon. Oh, and obviosly don't bother thinking about scoring til it's gone, cos it ain't gonna happen! :p

dont panic its just a cluster of nerves.. it should fall of in a few days.. it wond grow into a new tongur or anything so your ok.. if its really bothering you get a disprin and hold it agenst it.. it might sting for a second or 2 but it will dissolve it harmlessly. or just let it fall off in time.
scary thing to happen.. i had the same
dont mind anybody saying you aint lookin after it properly and its infected.. its a sign of quick healing
