Anyone else do this down on dollymount beach? 'Twas fun, but bloody cold! I'm glad they cancelled the run, I don't think my toes would have made it...
I'll be doing it next year anyways

No, there was going to be a 2km run and then a plunge into the sea, but they cancelled the run because it was so cold. We just ended up doing a bit of a sprint into the sea. I think losing all feeling in my toes was worth it though. And i saw some very hungover people getting rudely awakened!

Ah right, sorry I misundertood you, apologies if I seemed rude :D

Yeah its quite a shock running into the cold water. We did a 25foot jump straight in, bone dry! The first jump was fine, because when we got out the air was warmer than the water, but the 2nd jump was harsh. When we got out our feet really stung from the cold, and started to go blue! It was worth the free hot whiskey after though ;)

Well done on raising a few bob!
