I just got my hands on a PSP with v1.5 firmware, and then in haste, I ran out and bought the new Prince of Persia which demands I upgrade to v2.5 before it plays. Does anyone know a way to get the game to play without upgrading? I'm egar not to lose my emulators.

There's no way around it just yet. So it's either homebrew or PoP.

    Arse.

    There's always the 3rd option... 2 PSPs! :p

    What about getting GTA instead?

That only requires firmware version 2.0, which can run a number of emulators (but not as much as 1.5 can, no ISOs at all).
You can also downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5... if you can be arsed doing it every time you want to switch between GTA and homebrew!

I might just see if I can exchange Prince of Persia for the PS2 version instead.
