    Hi everybody

I am very new to the computer forum and hope that I am not asking stupid question.I got the BT basic broadband package for chrstmas.I then got two spare wireless modems at work and replaced the BT modem with the wireles netopia ones(basic eircom wireless modems).

I havenow have the wireless modems connected in my house in different locations. I can work both seperately, however when I switch on both neither work, obivous they clash . I would like to work the two together to give me better coverage in the house,is this possible with the equipment that I have got???

    Appreciate any help

Thanks for all the help/suggestions I am now sorted. The IT guys in work explained what I must do with the units and they now work well and seperately. :)

    hi

The solution is a s follows. Conect a cat5 cable(max length 60 meters) into one of the 4 ports in the modem/route. Then connect the other end to one of the 4 ports in the the other modem/router. Then simply switch on you now have wifi coverage in the area surrounding the 2 unit. Simple but it works. In the event of singal overspill between the modem/routers change the the broadcast channel in one.
