hey, does anybody know what a micro memory card bus accelerator is?

    like what does it do? i beleive there is one in the broken laptop of mine? can i take it out and stick it in another laptop? and would it be a little chip or a big card, like ram or something!

    sounds like a PCMCIA slot, altohugh im not 100% certain. Used for expansion somewhat similar to PCI in desktops albeit with limited bandwaidth. Modems, NIC's, Firewire USB2 etc etc.

    Both the connector and controller are soldered onto the board, so in short, no its not somthing you could switch.
