Currency Conversion

    Hello,

I just need some help in trying to figure out the best way to convert euros to sterling. Will be moving to England for a few years but have some savings in a bank account here. Also have an AIB credit card so was thinking I could transfer money to my credit card account as needed and use that to make purchases in England. From my old bus org classes I seem to recall this being a good way of converting currency. Are there any fees which may be charged that would remove the advantages of doing things this way?

    Thanks

    Thanks for that.

So my bank will be taking their 1.75% on top of mastercards 1%. Has to be a better way of doing it.

Plus there is the €40 yearly tax on Irish credit cards.
