Basic PDA

I was thinking about buying a very basic PDA, not specifically looking to use it as my phone, just want it for keeping dates, apointments, basic word files etc. I dont have a clue at all about them, so any recomendations?

If that's all you want and want it cheap: Sony CLIE (They're no longer being manufactured); they come with PalmOS + software: DocsToGo

Dates and appointments can usually be catered for by most half-decent phones; and some PIM functionality on slightly better phones.. but word files.. mneh:)

Go for a PalmOS based PDA, then you can install by BusSched and TrainSched applications.
