Is it true that if you want to use your laptop on the college's network that XP Pro works best!?? How different would XP Home be, i.e. would I be at a major disadvantage by getting a laptop with XP Home and not running XP Pro? Thanks Oh yeah HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

It shouldnt make a difference proformance wise, but its easy to setup and use xp pro.
You should just format and install xp pro.
