Shut down or sleep?

    Which is best to use? Is there much of a difference? Does it damage it if your moving it around alot while it's asleep? It's an apple ibook if that makes any difference.

    Shut down (Or Hibernate if it's an option) is better and safer, if you're not using the unit for any extended period. Sleep still uses power, and depending on the unit/config. make still have the disks spinning (Which may not be a good idea if the unit is to be moved around).
