My younger sister lives in Canada and has recently joined her local Irish theatre group called the Celtic Players in the spring of the new year they are hoping to put on a production of The Snapper by Roddy Doyle and she has contacted me to help her find a copy of the script of the film. Now I tried a quick google search to see where I can get a copy of the script but to no avail. Can anyone tell me how I can find a copy or is there somewhere I can contact about getting scripts. All advice is much appreciated.

Haven't heard of it as a play alright.Hmmm..lemme see.

Since it's a book there should be info on the back concerning publishing.possibly the play etc.Google is your best bet at the moment..do keep trying! Try look up the theatres that produced this play in the past and track things through them. That's a start!

    Good luck!

If I find out more I shall mail!

Film scripts aren't always available for sale and there are copyright issues with putting on public performances of any text. You might be best to get in touch with Roddy Doyle's agent. If you contact the publisher named in the novel, they'll be able to give you some more information.
