Went to a ticketmaster outlet earlier to get a ticket to the Strokes for January 20th. The guy there said that it's been postponed until February because of something or other. Ticketmaster.ie doesn't show the gig at all (it did 2 days ago) but there's been no update on mcd.ie (the promoters). Can anyone confirm/deny this?

This is typical. I dont know what it is about gigs in january but they always seem to get cancelled or moved. This is the third time. God damn it, i just saw the strokes on mtv2 last night and they looked really god. was lokkin forward but now i cant go, all because of that laugh- free zone known as saturday night live.

This is absolutely pathetic. Have something planned already for Feb 20th.

Anyone know of the official reason for the change in date?

This is the email I got, incase people bought in a shop or from somebody else and are returning them. Check the wanted section in tickets (and normal ticket section too) first though, there are people looking for them willing to collect.
