I got a new laptop recently. Is there any way I can move my MP3s to my new computer without losing all the ratings to my songs, which I spent months doing?
I'm running Windows XP on both computers and have an iPod, which is synched to my iTunes Library. All the files are Mp3s, so there's no problem with drm.

Copypod says it does it. Free 14 day trial.

Blisterman , I've sent you a PM in relation to Copypod .

It will allow you to transfer all songs to new PC then sync your pod to the pc as usual ..

I managed to do it without copypod. I exported my library to an xml file. Copied all my mp3s to the same folder on my new laptop, installed itunes, deleted the library file, and imported the exported library file, and it worked proberly.

Thanks, I saw that, but I didn't want to consolidate my library.
