    Hey Guys,

I was thinking of purchasing a folding bike from Argos . I want to cycle from my home to the train station take it on the train (pretty packed) and then cycle from train station to my work. Do you think a bike like the one in argos would be suitable for this. I have reservations that it still may be very bulky when folded in half and that i may not be allowed to bring it on to the train.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated

I suspect you're right there OK - I can't see that thing folding much...

Looks like a Triumph 20 clone. The saddle and bars drop down too.

maybe get a Large bag to disguise it in.

Fits inside leg measurements 74cm to 92cm. 29"-36"

Some of the originals had a three speed hub

    hi all

Argos bike looks like a bit of a cheapie. IMHO cheap bikes are not worth buying, more trouble than they're worth. See if you can get your hands on a quality second hand Brompton. They fold nice and small and look to be a good bike. Will cost plenty o' wedge though. If you got a friend in London you might have a chance of getting a second hand one there for a good price, loads of people buy them there.
