Has anyone out there who owns an ipod video experienced problems with dead pixels in the screen. My heart sank when I came across a small portion of the screen that looked dead. What should I do; should I bring it back and complain or is it due to my own fault. I never dropped the device or mistreated in any way. It is…

Has anyone out there who owns an ipod video experienced problems with dead pixels in the screen. My heart sank when I came across a small portion of the screen that looked dead.

What should I do; should I bring it back and complain or is it due to my own fault. I never dropped the device or mistreated in any way. It is about a week old and it was a christmas present.

Is it a single pixel or a cluster of them? If its a cluster you should be entitled to a replacment depending on the size of the cluster.

Its not your fault, it just happens with some LCD screens.
