    I just spotted this on the Chorus job vacancies webpage

    "IP HSD VoIP Planning and Project Manager"

    perhaps a sign of things to come when upc merge NTL and Chorus...

    They have jobs like that periodically in Chorus. I even applied for one once.

    I don't thhink you can read anything special into it.

    Chorus have always had plans to launch such services, they've just never had the money.

    To be fair to them, they're not crap on purpose! The plans were very big, they just never got the money / marketing right.

    Their Chorus digital product was supposed to replace all analogue systems much sooner than it did and they should have had the cable networks up to speed by now, but lack of cash kept them low bandwidth.

    Likewise, with MMDS lack of cash, sky launching BBC etc all bit into their rollout.

    Tripple play is the only way they can get out of this hole as they'll have to differenciate themselves from sky digital.
