If I were you I'd go further south to Malaga, its a lovely city with lots to do and see. If you just want to sit on the beach you should be to Lanzarote or somewhere warm. You could go further south to Marbella which is really nice or Puerto Banus which is the expensive part of Marbella. I think Spain might not be as warm as you think at this time of year. Hope you have a nice holiday I know I'd be there only its my busiest time of the year.:)

I went to Mojacar, Almeria in the summer, lovely place. I stayed in an appartment complex called "Pueblo Indalo". The appartments are basic enough but there is a safe in each 1(40 quid deposit), air conditioner and fridge etc. Appartment "palmares 2a" has a great view but loads of stairs. Pool is nice. There was great entertainment at night (not 4 me, 4 kids), lovely beach, there are a few othe nice hotels near it which I visited one night. One is called the "Porta Marina"(it's alittle way out of the town, there are busses though. Loads of lovely restraunts along the coast road. (Lances is nice, so is the Blue Lagoon(restraunts)). I would definatly reccomend it as a desination.

The old pair have a house close to Almeira, they say it is a very nice area.
