Will UTV be added to the EPG?

    I remember a thread a few weeks ago saying that UTV was going to be added during the channel reshuffle.
    Is this still the case and does anybody have any further information on the issue?

    The reason I ask is channels not in the EPG can not be recorded on a Sky plus box.

    No idea.
    We await the new EPG line-up, which should happen in January. It was postponed. In the UK, there will be provision for all ITV1 regions to appear, but weather or not this will happen here, I doubt. But there were strong rumours about UTV appearing, I for one will wait and see.

    If sky can't list UTV and the BBC free to air channels themselves in the EPG, why not allow Irish viewers to add them themselves. Give us 10 user-programmable channels.

    Sky wouldn't specifically add the channels, but if a subscriber or wayward installer should do it, it wouldn't be sky's fault.
