Compaq Laptops

Im thinking of buying a laptop from pcworld a compaq 1.73ghz with intel pentium M 740 Processor it has 1024Mb Ram and 80Gb Hard drive is 1249euro a good price? Ive been looking at other pc's in that price range at they only seem to have 512mb of ram!! Any help would be great Thanks

About average,To Be Honest. Compare against Dell.ie yourself.

RAM is relatively cheap and easy to install yourself..

I got a compaq laptop. Beware, the technical support is terrible. It took me two months of regular calls to them, before I gave up and got it repaired out of my own pocket.
I'm never buing from them again.
