Does anyone know if Pat Shortt is performing in the Point tonight?
Edit - it may be at Vicar Street.

Sorry but who cares, Pat Shortt is not funny. Farmer/Country fool sketches is actually not funny. Funny is Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, Bill Hicks, Bill Bailey. Pat Shortt is a complete tool. Btw the only original funny comedian from these isles momentariy is Dylan Moran.

Excuse me, I have a very poor memory but I don't remember asking could someone please reply and tell me how bad Pat Shortt is and not answer the main question I asked. I never even wrote, implied, or otherwise gave any indication that I had a preference of Pat Shortt over other Irish comedians nor did I indicate that i would be attending any sort of function, conference or other involving Mr.Shortt. In fact, at this late stage it would highely unlikely that I could purchase tickets for the said show, particularly as:
    (a) I'm not sure if it is even taking place this evening
    (b) Due to the success of the Killinaskully series and the inflated celebrity of Mr.Shortt himself, one would assume there is quite high demand for a show of its kind.
What possessed you to expect me to be interested on your opinions on the state of Irish comedy at this point in time, in fact, I have no interest whatsoever in your opinion, and this is understood by any other person who can read the name of this topic.
Obviously, this is quite an urgent matter as I am enquiring about a show that may or may not take place this very evening.
So next time, please take into consideration that I may be urgently awaiting a reply, and may be severely disheartened when I learn it is a reply such as yours.
    Thanks.

Are you such an eejit that you honestly believe that your opinion defines what is good & crap (funny and not funny)?

    You're the tool
