Well, 'Celtiv' and 'Kean' will definitely not get you anywhere.
There is a bit of a dispute about his debut. Celtic want him to be able to play on around Jan. 1st in a cup match but the SFA insist that he has to sign on that date but he has to wait for it to be processed (a few days. It will probably the game after that (around the 8th?).
    Hope that helps.

Edit - sorry it looks like the league game is first and then the cup.
Celtic's first two games after Christmas are away from home. It's looking like he won't be able to play in the vital game versus Hearts. They may rest him for the not-very-important Cup match away to Clyde or they may play him. If they rest him, he will probably make his debut at home against Kilmarnock. That would be his home debut anyways so that would be the match I'd get tickets for. It can be notoriously hard to get tickets for home games at Celtic Park though, the majority of people are season ticket holders.

    Today!

He can't play for them until the transfer window opens on Jan 1st.

Celtic want him to play on Jan 1st, but the SPL offices are closed that day so they won't be able to complete the necessary paperwork. Looks like the Tennent's Scottish Cup third round at Clyde on January 8th will be his first appearance.

Being unveiled to the fans in a pre-match ceremony, but can't play due to transfer restrictions until Jan 1st at the earliest (and later as explained above)

Fans heading to Celtic Park for the Boxing Day clash with Livingston are being invited to arrive early so as to give Roy Keane the warmest of welcomes into the Celtic family.

Keane, it’s been confirmed, will be introduced to Hoops faithful prior to kick-off and, as he’s ineligible to play at his new home until the January 14 visit of Kilmarnock, this represents the perfect opportunity to give our new Bhoy the best possible reception.

There’ll be pre-match entertainment, too, in the form of live music, so get along early to ‘Hail! Hail!’ the arrival at Celtic Park of one of game’s true greats.

You can buy match tickets from Celtic either by phone or on the net. Check the link I posted. Do it quickly, I imagine tickets will sell quickly for the match.

Flights that weekend are very pricy. I checked going out the 14th and back the 15th.

Ryanair = €400 before taxes and charges
Aer Lingus = €360 before taxes and charges

Loganair are the cheapest @ €164 per person.

www.loganair.co.uk (for a link to the BA website where you have to book)

    Good luck.

If you leave on 13th and return on 16th, you can get a total flight price, excluding tax of €0.02.

I don't think its anything to do with it being closed. SPL fixtures are on New Years eve and Celtic play Hearts on New Years day because its being televised. They say its unfair if Celtic and Hearts can use new players in that week of fixtures when other teams can't.

I assume you want to go to a home match? Register here:
    https://eticketing.co.uk/celtic/index.asp

Click on the Kilmarnock match and choose your seats. Eventually you'll find an area that has seats. They're about £20 each.

If he's staying overnight I'd recommend the Kelvin Hotel, a B&B. £24 a night, lovely brekkie, pubs right outside. Phone up and ask for Sandra.

I have already tried getting tickets on the official site but whenever I find an area with seats, i fill in the quantity and I get this:
    http://img409.imageshack.us/img409/4629/tickets1vy.jpg
This is after it shows the prices for that section, implying that they are available. Can anybody help?

From the rte link I provided:
The Scottish Premier League have warned Celtic manager Gordon Strachan any appeal against rules preventing Roy Keane making a New Year's Day debut will fail.

The Hoops boss is refusing to give up on handing the former Manchester United skipper his debut at Hearts on January 1 - and has vowed to look into regulations preventing it.

But the SPL insist Keane cannot register until the transfer window opens on New Year's Day, when their offices are closed.

    While the Beeb says:
Keane will not be eligible to make his Celtic debut against Hearts at Tynecastle on New Year's Day as Scottish Premier League rules do not allow for players to be both registered and play on the first day of the new transfer window.

    And the Scotsman says:
But the SPL insist he will not be registered in time and his debut will have to wait until the Tennent's Scottish Cup third-round tie against Clyde at Broadwood on January 8.

Try SE corner 119, the £23 tickets.

I realise now, it's just because I was using a large quantity. Suppose it'll be hard to get them all together in a good spot.

I got them in 119 in the end, eirebhoy.
When I went to an Old Firm game, the Rangers fans were in the Jock Stein Stand. But at the AC Milan game, the AC fans were in the SE. I'm presuming in league games, they put the away fans in the J.S?
Can anyone confirm this? eirebhoy? Or will I be in with Killie fans?

I wasn't sure but asked on another forum and have been told that the away fans get section 120.
