DS Region coding?

    Can you buy DS games from anywhere in the world to play on an EU DS? got one today. I'm fairly certain there is no region locking on handhelds, but want to be positive!

    and where would the best place be to get import games?

    yes there is no region locking on DS, but be wise if the game is a multiplayer one you may have to have the same region (eg. us/europe/asia) as the rest of the players.

    afaik all nintendo handhelds have been region free, and it's only with the introduction of wireless gaming that there's a slight hiccup.

    cheers - the multiplayer thing ain't a big deal, only 1 of my mates has one, and that is his little brothers, so the chances of me getting to play multiplayer are quite slim.

    I just got Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and Animal Crossing WW from playasia.com

    Prices were okay... but the delivery was fast and they sent me lots of extra goodies as well as it was chritmas... including capcom stickers and sweeties... oh and a $5 coupon too.
