HELP: NTL MMDS and recording in the future

    Hi,

    Does anyone know how to record on NTL MMDS for a week+ out given their program guide is only two days in advance? For example, if I am away on vacation for 2 weeks and want to record my favourite programs during that time, how can I do this (i.e. make the NTL box auto switch to the correct channel at the given time for recording)? I have one of these new Pace boxes (DC221) if that makes any difference.

    Some VCRs have an IR out that can select channel on an external box.

    You can get an IR remote controlled by PC.

    Also there is an Add on device for DVD / VHS recorder that can be programmed to minimic any IR remonte. Forget name though.

    If you are only recording on ONE chanel, then just program times on the VHS / DVDr or whatever is recording.
