    Hey,

I recently put together an AudioDVD on a DVD-RW for my girlfriend, but her computer doesnt recognise the DVD? Her playstation does however.

She has a DVD-ROM, but it doesnt say anything on the front about supporting other formats. I would of thought it did?

Its a Dell computer, new enough to.

I thought DVD-ROMs readed most disk types?

AudioDVD ? Very few systems or hi-fi support these afaik..
Finalize the session - some drives take issue with DVD-RW ...
Otherwise: just copy the music as data files and you'll fit more and it'll be compatible..

Otherwise, for more info on what the drive can/can't read - if you have Nero (From the toolkit): run InfoTool.exe

AudioDVD is just a DVD Disk with audio music on it and a menu in VOB files.

But that didnt work, but either did an MP3Disk created with Nero? Which just has all MP3's on them, and can be extracted by exploring the disk.

There just not recognised. I thought the DVD-ROM would have been able to read a DVD-RW.

Computer ROM-only drives generally have major problems with non-pressed recordable media, CD and DVD, R and RW alike, I've almost always had problems using recorded media in ROM drives, varying from poor performance to total failure. Best use RW discs only in ReWriter drives.

I had a lot on that DVD, thought the DVD-ROM would read it. :.(
