I've worked nightmare shifts before. It is awful, but that feeling when you finish is the best in the world. Also, the sh*ttyness of the shift is usually reflected in the paycheque, so I hope when you get a break you'll have a few euros to spend. Makes it worthwhile.

ive often had to work on christmas day, bloody people with their ovens on every light in the house on and aswell as that the instant shower, and they wonder why their main fuse blows?

Of course it pays off when you get a nice big triple after hours time cheque or cash :D

This is the first year in about 8 where I've had loads of time off over Christmas (22nd - 3rd if anyone's interested :)) but to be honest, it's so boring (nothing on TV I haven't already seen) that I'd almost rather be working.

When I was doing tech support (for primarily the US market) I worked mostly nights so would finish at around 6am on Christmas morning, same on New Year's... still, the paycheque was well worth it and it was usually pretty quiet inwork anyway

I would hate to have to work on Christmas :( Hope you have a nice night, anyway.... maybe something unexpected will happen? And yeah... it's always nice to have the extra money, though. ;)

I know what it feels like, can't wait to be finished and get a few quiet pints later on tonight!
