Im going to add http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414993/ The Fountain to that list.

Plot Outline: Spanning over one thousand years, and three parallel stories, The Fountain is a story of love, death, spirituality, and the fragility of our existence in this world.

the trailer looks amazing, no release date as yet.

Apocalypo, Mel Gibson's new film sounds interesting http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472043/

Im looking forward to X3 more than Superman.

Oooooh, and Pirates 2, can't wait for it.

    Sin City 2? gah...why don't I have a good feeling about that.

And I am also looking forward to X3 more than Superman.

    Munich also looks very good.

Hostel, definately, can't wait to see that.

Die Hard 4.0 and Sin City 2 also on my list.

Anyone any info on the film "Slither"? That looked amazing - the kind of gore gross out fest left behind in the 80's.

edit: Also very much looking forward to V for Vendetta :)

The Fountain has flop written all over it, in my eyes:
Trivia: In early 2002, writer/director Darren Aronofsky cast Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in the central leads of Tom and Izzi with a budget of $75 million. During pre-production, Pitt and Aronofsky were having major creative differences, so Pitt left to film Troy (2004) instead and the film was shut down. In early 2004, with a smaller budget of $40 million, Aronofsky cast Hugh Jackman as Tom and Rachel Weisz replaced Blanchett as Izzi. (more)

I'm really looking forward to 'Bobby'
Plot Outline: The story of the assassination of U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy, on June 6th, 1968, which centers around 22 people who were at the Ambassador Hotel where he was killed.
Dunno why Lindsay Lohan is playing Diane though :)

Normally I wouldn't go near those films... but the fact that Philip Seymour Hoffman is the bad makes it look very cool.

Oh... and is it wrong to be looking forward to the Silent Hill movie?

The teaser makes it look pretty cool...

i want nothing to do with it

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,216 ✭✭✭✭monkeyfudge

Radha Mitchell is in Silent Hill as well... She's been pretty good in anything else I've seen her in. The trailer that I linked to further up makes it look pretty interesting.

oh.. and I notice the Borg Queen is also in it.

Munich, Jarhead, Good Night and Good Luck, Cars, Superman Returns, Untitled 11/9 Project (Oliver Stone), Lady In The Water, The Fantastic Mr Fox, Mission Impossible 3, hopefully better than 2 with more emphasis on the team rather than Cruise's one man army! Flags Of Our Fathers, Thank You for Smoking, A Scanner Darkly, Che.

Most of the movies in the first post, except a few of the kids ones.
    Syriana too.
How do they plan on getting the A-Team out this year when no cast or director has even been announced. It'll probably suck anyway.
Fantastic Mr. Fox though, by Anderson. Very interested in that, I love that book
