A good song always gets the christmas spirit going

    (Mr. Garrison)
I heard there is no Christmas,
    In the silly Middle East.
No trees, no snow, no Santa Claus.
    They have different religious beliefs.

    They believe in Muhammad,
    And not in our holiday,
    and so every December,
I go to the Middle East and say...

    Hey there, mister Muslim!
    Merry ****in' Christmas!
Put down that book the Koran,
    and here's some holiday wishes..
    In case you haven't noticed,
    It's Jesus' birthday.
So get off your heathen Muslim ass,
    And ****in' celebrate.

    There is no holiday season,
    In India, I've heard.
They don't hang up their stockings,
    And that is just absurd.

They never read a Christmas story.
They don't know what Rudolph is about.
And that is why every December,
I'll go to India and shout...

    Hey there, mister Hinduist!
    Merry ****in' Christmas!
Drink eggnog and eat some beef,
And pass it to the missus..
    *Hindu music*
    In case you haven't noticed,
    It's Jesus' birthday.
So get off your heathen Hindu ass,
    And ****in' celebrate.

Now I've heard that in Japan,
    Everyone just lives in sin.
    They pray to several gods,
And put needles in their skin.

    On December 25th,
All they do is eat a cake.
And that is why I go to Japan,
    And walk around and say...

    HEY THERE, mister Shintoist!
    Merry ****in' Christmas!
God is gonna kick your ass,
    You infidelic pagan scum!
    *Japanese music*
    In case you haven't noticed,
    There's festive things to do.
So let's all rejoice for Jesus,
    Merry ****in' Christmas, ta you.

    On Christmas Day..
I travel around the world and say..
    Daoists, Christians, Buddists,
    and all you Atheists, too!
    Merry ****in' Christma-aaaaas,
    To yooo-oouuu!

    *small clapping sound*

    Thank you, Mr. Hat.

How do I answer that.. umm would you go for some under-mistletoe antics instead? :D;)

Hmm, I still need to attatch some mistletoe to a hairband...

I think it's sad that there's so much buildup to it but that by this time next week it'll be all over. Sure we'll have New Years then anyway!

It's weird... last year the spirit just went for me.. it doesn't even feel like it's christmas eve... even without Santa it wasn't so bad, but this year my tree doesn't even give off that christmas tree smell :S It's just not the same. :( Maybe it's because I haven't seen that coke ad with all the trucks this year.. it's not so much that commercialism has destroyed christmas.. it's just that commercialism today isn't the same as it used to be...

    I miss christmas

There's probably an EU tax on the Christmas Spirit. But seriously I think theres so much to do that you always have something in the back of your mind to finish off of collect and until you can relax and chill out you can't get into the Christmas Spirit.

Ya, I agree... religion has taken over christmas. We used to hear holidays and not care, now we hear it and it makes us angry!!!
Woolworths had the same ad for every christmas, to me it was like the coke one... but they scrapped it!
Last year Limerick City had a christmas festive, now there's just some stuff going on that happened last year and the organisers thought to make them annual... but the city still calls itself the christmas capital!
I dunno, i mean walking through the city is really christmassy, they have christmas music playing along the bus stops in the city, which is really great, and just looking around the city is amazing "the city of a million christmas lights"!
I went ice skating last night and that was really christmassy but right now its just like, neh!
Why is christmas wearing off so quickly?!?!

christmas spirit is not about being happy, big sessions, poker, and spending quality time with your loved ones, its about being festive, gald your off work, getting presents and getting hammered without a care in the world
