What are the tiered seats like at The Point (Block B)? And would the back rows (like W, Z, etc) be shiite? And are they strictly assigned, or is it pretty much first come...?

    depends on the show.

Well I've seen the seating plan, I just wanna know if the seats are decent and if they are *strictly* assigned...

And it's The Strokes, if you're asking...

for the stokes i'd imagine they'll be strictly assigned as the seating will sell out.

Seating is ok... you'll see the stage, but it's never as good as being down standing.
Not sure exactly what your expecting.
Seating will be strictly assigned.... why else do you think they put numbers on them?
    Crowd control / security etc...

And any chance of being able to sneak in to standing?

There is a way, but it's a bit daft and complicated.

Do you know anyone who has standing tickets? Arrange for them to put two standing tickets in their pocket (they can just borrow one for 10 minutes from a pal!) and stand below your section on the ground.

Throw one seated ticket down to them. They pick it up, come upstairs, hand you one standing ticket. You both walk downstairs, show your standing tickets to the staff, and stand for the concert.

See, I told you it was silly, but I've done it a couple of times and not had any bother.

Just don't sit in Block B, row DD seat 74. I was in that seat for Mark Knopfler. Probably the worst seat in the whole place. Made what would have been a great gig piss me off greatly:mad:

Halfway through, they usually are more lenient anyway.

A lot of people are asking about standing at the point for the strokes. I expect many will be trying it so the bouncers will be very much on the lookout, they have to be for safety reasons, also not fair on people crammed in who genuinely got standing tickets.
There are standing ones on ebay, they are not going for very much either.
