    What normal for Line Attenuation?

    I'm on eircom's 2mb/128kb service and getting 38/22 dB.

It this normal and does line attenuation actualally effect the service at all?

Up: Threshold: More than 32dB can impact on performance)
Down: Threshold: More than 48dB-56dB can impact on preformance)

As long as your not way over the threshold you will be fine

    Anything over 45db for a 2mbps line we'd consider a problem.

No, I do not. I work for another ISP. It's not in Ireland. I'll leave it at that :)
