    Lads quick question,

Im getting my 360 on xmas day and im just wondering will it connect up to a regular tv via a scart cable and be able to play it straight away?

Also can i hook it up to my LCD monitor or do i need a special cable, (LCD has VGA and DVI connections)!

    Cheers lads!!!

You will be able to plug it straight into the composite/scart on the TV out of the box and it will be ready to go. To hook it up to a monitor you will need to buy a VGA cable.

Does the vga have to be of a certain type(Microsofts version) or will a regular VGA cable do?

Has to be a Microsoft VGA cable (or at least one designed specifically for the Xbox360)

Also the VGA cables are virtually impossible to get.
