How old do gfx cards have to be to predate having to connect them to psu?

I have an old pc here, 800mhz, and will be throwing a 64mb Radeon 7000 in there...just want to make sure all is well....I'm pretty sure there's nothing more to it then that, but just double checking, as I won't get the computer home until next week.

    Thanks.

    :)

From the nVidia GeforceFX and ATi 9700/9500 period. A 7000 is too old to have one.
