creative soundblaster live stopped working

    my creative sound blaster live 5.1 speakers topped working today for no apparent, hardware appears fine and drivers ar eok, the only thing diff that happened was the front fell off the sub woofer but it wa sonly a cover so that shouldn't make a diff - ne ideas?

    if someone moved the woofer enough to make the speaker cover fall off then the power connector at the back is not exactly the tightest fit. check that first !!

    well gee, you moved the speakers, something fell off, now they won't work. It doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out this mystery.

    the front cover falling off the subwoofer is hardly likely to cause all 6 speakers to stop working. You could be a bit more helpful..people in these forums are so quick to hurl useless abuse.

    To the OP: have you another system you can test the speakrs on, or can you test the speakers individually or do you have a second useless pair of speakers to test the soundcard?
