PCMCIA (laptop slot)...

Possible to get an adaptor for a PCI slot on a desktop that will take a PCMCIA card?
I have a netwear wireless card that is of no use to me, and rather than buy a PCI card (which I do need) I was thinking that maybe there is some sort of PCI card that will act as a socket for the laptop card...
    Am I mistaken?

Don't see any prices on that link...any ideas on a price range?

:v: holy sh*t, I'd be cheaper just buying the damn wireless card.
Might go the USB dongle route then so....thx for the help.

i've never installed it & never got drivers (AFAIK, XP shouldn't need additional drivers..Perhaps someone can confirm?) so i'm not 100% confident of selling it..
PM with an Irish address that you want it posted to; I'll post it and it you want to keep it, it's yours for €40; otherwise.. you return it. ?

This is the kind of thing ebay is great for.

Sounds good man....if I don't come up with a solution between now and the NY I'll take you up on it. If I manage to find a decent USb dongle in the shops tomorrow I'll prolly pass and just flog the old card on eBay. Let you know one way or the other.
