Not sure if this is the right place to post feel free to move

I find this unusual and everyone in my family thinks im a freak but I don't like eating chocolate or sweet things at all
I would eat a bar if I was extremely hungry and there was nothing else to eat but I wouldn't enjoy it and it would make me feel nauseous and also (this is funny) but I'd get really hyper!!!
I drink cider also so the sugar in that would have a hyper effect on me too...
I loved sweets as a child and its puzzling me now why I hate them so much
I prefer curries, crisps and spicy food but suffering stomach problems so have to cut back.
I've never had problems with weight and would be described as slim/curvy..
I was just enquiring because around xmas especially I feel more of a freak but is there anyone else out there that is like this as I'm reallllly curious.

 I wouldn't describe it as being freaky.. I go through phases of about 2-3 months where all I want is savoury stuff, but that is usually followed by a massive sugar craving so it generally works itself out.

In fact sometimes the sugar cravings sometimes get so bad I have to go seek counselling.. SA (sweeties annonymous) have proven to be a great help :D

A friend of mine hates chocolate and overly sweet things. He'd much rather something salty or savoury over sweet any day. It's not that weird. The smell of chocolate makes him feel sick.

I am of (kind of) a simillar nature. Its not that sweet stuff and chocolate make me nauseous but when I eat them (haven't intentionally eaten chocolate in 2 years ie may have been consummed by accident) they leave me feeling unfullfilled, they seem utterly pointless except for momentary satisfaction of the taste buds.
I wouldn't consider you weird your just stepping back and thiking outside the norm.

I hate any for crisps and will only eat my mothers homemade chips.

Did ya ever go past the biscuit factory (think its Jacobs) out in Tallaght?! Same thing happens there... all of a sudden all I can think about is Fig bleedin Rolls :D

People who don't like chocolate must not be trusted under any circumstances. Fight them (if necessary) to the death!

You shouldn't type with your mouth full.

I would say it's unusual not to like chocolate.

People who eat (or claim to like) dark chocolate should deffo not be trusted.. seriously its a whole "Luke, I am you Father" situation and its not worth going into. Basically:

People who are neither here nor there about chocolate = acceptable
People who like or claim to like dark chocolate = unacceptable

    :v: :D :v:

Cadburys is just around the corner from where I work. The smell does be wonderful sometimes... definitely makes me want to eat as many dairy milks as possible anyway.

Too bad Tayto closed down, it used to be nice to smell the crisp and chocolate scents intertwine.

That said I do prefer havin' my dinner to the desert.

I never eat sweets. You can feel them rotting your teeth. It's horrible.

Yeah I'm like that. Not as much since I got back from America but slowly going back.
    Hate overly sweet things.
Can't drink cider or alcopops, so sugary they make me gag.
Sure I like chocolate and the like I just never buy it or crave it.

Used to have a really naturally healthy diet..3 months in america can of wrecked that.

Im with CSG on this one. I hate the sickly feeling you get after eating junk.So no choc/sweets, crisps and most fizzy drinks.

If I get the munchies and need a sugar hit, I go for fruit or a handful of nuts. no, actual nuts...

I dont eat chocolate or sweet things, no fizzy drinks, no greasy or fatty food, nothing with fat in it unless its healthy fat, no sugar, no bakery goods like cake etc and i don't drink alcohol either. My friends have regarded me a true health freak and im damn proud! But i did hear that dark chocolate with 76% or more cocoa solids is good for your heart, if you treat yourself.

I'm the same, just have no sweet tooth at all, and will only take the occasional sliver of dark chocolate with an espresso, after a nice meal.

Except when I have the 'munchies', of course... ;)
