"We are going to tour next year, definitely," Ed O'Brien told Zane Lowe on his Radio 1 show last night (December 21). "Hopefully we're going to have a couple of tracks to download by about April or May. But we're going to go out in May, we're going to do some theatres because part of what we're doing is play new material. It's a good way to get your **** together."

Here's hoping for another couple of gigs in the Olympia.

Yeah saw that earlier. Would fullfill most peoples list of "Who do you want to see in 2006"!

Would dearly love to see them play the Olympia! Was out of the country the last time so missed that 1

i'd love to see em in the Olympia, i would NOT like to see them in the RDS or point or likewise, that would just suck imo.

I have to agree, Im certainly no fan of the point, but I saw them there and it was superb. Saw them in Galway in '96 and Punchestown in '00, but the point gig was the 1st time I could actually see them and they blew me away!!

They played there three nights in a row (it was three wasn't it?) just before Hail to the Thief came out. I went one of the nights, it was frickin' amazing.

Look, take it from someone who just did it half a year ago, going to see Radiohead is more important than some state exam.

I dono about that.I've seen them before so it's ok....but I'd still likw to go again.Best gig I've ever seen

Can't agree with that at all, you'll probably only be taking one bite of the leaving cert cherry, radiohead will tour again. You have to put yourself and your own goals and ambitions ahead of a pastime.

Hahaha :D:p , that's the second time people have misunderstood me, in my two most recent posts on boards. I was being flippant really, I don't genuinely believe that Radiohead are more important than the LC, but I mean I don't think going to a singular gig is going to affect your Leaving Cert unless of course it is the day before one of the exams. But worrying if it's too close as in a few weeks, I think that's a bit much.

Oooh I hope they come. Tickets will probably be impossible to get tho.

sorry Nidge for picking you up wrong, I think I was feeling a bit self-righteous yesterday, by the sounds of it anyway we agree! ;)
