    Hi there,

quick question. If some one is selling an item and adds a postage option does it show up anywhere that the change has happened?

Reason for asking, Is I was talking to guy about buying and item, and if I can meet him if I won, as need item B4 Christmas. He said no worries.

So I bid on the item the following day, and saw in the notes of the item were added "can meet in city centre blah blah". So I bid, and I won, got the invoice thru from your man and he's added €10.00 Pick Up. I looked back at the item description, and on the delivery charge it has €10 pick up charge. Now I'm sure that wasn;t there when I 1st looked at the item.

Do chages to postage show up anywhere?

    Thanks,

    Pip

The listing cannot be altered once a bid has been placed. More info can be added. It is possible that he revised the item between the time you contacted him and bidding assuming there were no existing bids on the item.

Yes, you would think he would have mentioned it though, in the email
I do think €10 is fair if they have to go all the way to somewhere they have no other reason to be, maybe ask if you can collect from his house.
