    From the Komplett specs:
    Chipset Type: NVIDIA nForce4 SLI
    BIOS Type: Award

I feel your dual core would run at exactly the same speed.

Hit F3 I think to change the language.

    Edit:

That's seems to be the main BIOS screen.

Again, its an Nvidia chipset, there is no Asus bios, only an NVidia one. If you do manage to download a bios* with asus in the filename, its still the same NVidia bios.

German for Language is Sprache according to Google.

(when you ask a question, try reading the replys)

*bios, the word is bios. The 'i'comes before the 'o', as in 'bios'.

    what are you talking about?

if you are sure you have that board then there are no problems in flashing that board. but i recommend that you open up your computer and make sure you see that model numb written down, because if you flash it with the wrong bios it will never work again without some very serious effort.

why do you think that your dual core would run faster with the update? does windows detect the second core? did you know there this a windows hotfix for x2 cpus?
if it is just the fact it is in german than change the language as others have suggested

if your motherboard is not causing any problems then it is recommended to not flash it because if the power goes wilst it is flashing your board won't work again.

asus probably has a utility that will flash it from windows

    Go here.
Get the latest BIOS from the downloads page. Or click here to download it directly. (Version 1016, 2005/12/21 update)

If you go here you can see the updates to the CPU support on this board at each BIOS update.

With that *.BIN file, use the Winflash utility that came with the board to flash. Loads BIOS defaults and save them after the fresh reboot.

    One word of warning:
It does say on the download page -
For WinXP 32bit system, please download and update chipset drivers V6.65 or later
