    Hi,
Anyone know what Braodband services are available in Mullingar? I'm hoping to either get wireless BB or through Chorus. I don't want to get it through Eircom coz I don't have/want a landline. I want to get VOiP phone once I have BB.

    Cheers,
    Dave

as far as i know chorus dont do broadband in mullingar area. If they did I wouldnt go near them. They're useless.

Dont think Irish BB cover mullingar, but I could be wrong.

Chorus' new BB products are pretty good. Look better than the eircon alternative.

Digiweb is best for a "real" phone connection via wireless with real geographic phone number. When they eventually enable it. They tend to install the 3Mbit BB and enable the phone line on the box later.

dont know much about the product to be honest, but their customer support and service reliablity (tv) is a joke in mullingar.....

Have heard bad reports about their broadband service in the swords area

I have heard this too. I figure if you could get the BB it would be good provided it doesn't break.

They don't even have it in Swords anymore. That's right, one of the first to offer BB in the country thought it would be a good idea to pull the plug on it.
