Maths, Science with the old syllabus, which IMHO is much better than the new one, apart from we dont have to prove we did any of the experiments and we don't do a practical. I didn't know you could take Technology for the JC...what's involved in that?

Try checking out some of the papers on the examinations.ie website, or I think you can get the syllabus. As far as I know, it's computery kind of things, but with an emphasis on hardware. Not entirely sure though.

Whats the old Science syllabus about???

As far as I'm aware, it's basically the same as the new syllabus, but with some other sections as well (I heard somewhere that they took waves out of the new syllabus? There are waves in the old syllabus), and different emphasis on things.

The new Science syllabus wrecks my head, the teacher just keeps going on about how we don't have choice with the qustions, that we are the first to do the exam...grrr...
Maths. Oh how I hate that subject so.
And yes, you can keep on Technology. Just, in our school, nobody has for the last three years, so now they don't even give it to first years to pick from ( our school, you sample everything in first year then pick)
