    Does anyone know if there'll be post (in Dublin anyway) this Saturday? Given the fact that there was post here on Saturday and Sunday last, can I expect anything on Christmas eve, or will the posties (understandably) having a nice lie in by then?

    Just so I know all is not lost if a few things don't arrive on friday...

    Yep, remember getting post delivered last Christmas Eve can't see why it would be different this year.

    Thank god for that because all of my presents for my family, girlfriend etc.. are due to arrive between thursday and saturday(unless cd wow are lying 2 me) and it would be a disaster if there was no post on saturday and they still hadn't arrived on friday.

    phew, thanks folks, that's another day to rely on!

    I should have most/all of the deliveries by Friday, but it's good to know the stragglers will have more time!
    Buying presents online is a god send, but this is the major flaw of the whole process (and it's no one's fault but my own, and maybe the bastards who hijacked the royal mail van today).

    I too am waiting on some things from play.com and play-asia.com.

    But they're only christmas presents for myself... so it isn't too bad... but I really do want that VGA cable for my Xbox 360.

    I bought one or two pressies from "iwantoneofthose" on Sunday. They were shipped yesterday via Royal Mail.
    When I was ordering it said they'd be here between 2 & 3 days, but when they actually were shipped they said they'd be here between 3 & 5 days, so I'm really hoping they arrive in time!
