I'm thinking about booking the solo option with USIT this summer. They say that mandatory info sessions go on in April or May. They also warn that these could be during your exams.....anyone choose the solo option last year? When were the info session and was there more than one of them?

info sessions are a waste of time. i travelled over an hour to mine and there really was no need. if your worried about your j1, go, it will help calm you down.

pretty much all they talk about is the difference between availability of jobs and accommodation in the city and coastal area's. also they give some advice on how to deal with landlords. but imo everything they told us went out the window when we wrrived in the u.s.

like i said if your nervous/worried about your j1, go.
