Fan Controller - worth it?

    I recently installed two case fans and now I'm wondering about getting a fan controller. (I think I may have caught some kind of modding bug :rolleyes: )
    The question is would there be any point. The fans add no extra noise and I don't do any OC'ing.

    Done that already. No overly impressed to be honest. Although in fairness I only installed in yesterday. It only shows 1 fan though. I assume this one being the CPU fan. So where are the two new ones?

    are they run off the mb or the molex conectors?

    They're run off the molex. I suppose that would explain why they're not being detected :o . On that point, are there any other differences between running them off the molex or the mobo?

    With molex i can't see anyway that you will be able to read the fans speeds or control them. Also the more the devices you put into your system, the trickier it can get to cable them up.(i'd a system with 4 fans that used molex connectors and it was a bitch to cable it up with 2 ide hd, 2 cds and an agp gfx card).
