I am hosting a small website on my lan all the current files are in my webapps directory. I wish to be able to add files that i have stored on my external harddrive to this website but i do not want to have to copy all these to the webapps directory as its a few gigs of files.

Is there anyway what i can tell tomcat to look into a directory on my external harddrive when launching the server so i can create links to these files.
