More Omaha help needed with these 3 hands. I suck. I've been told to play only the nuts but I've played for 6 hours today and seen the nuts exactly 0 times.

Jdh29 had clearly been getting out of line. I reraised the flop for info because I knew he would get it all in with any set so I felt I was probably good on the turn and had a lot of outs for the nuts. I’m not sure if I should have just slowed down and hoped for a heart or a Jack though. He called a pot bet on the turn with 9 outs and only 2 outs for the nuts. He got his stack up to $880 then lost it all in 3 hands without giving me a cent. :mad:

Is this just another one of those. “Stop trying to get idiots to fold” hands or am I the idiot? I know the river bet is bad but how can he call me on the turn drawing to the second nuts when he could be drawing dead.

I played this one like a complete tool. I know someone already told me underfulls are garbage, but what a ****er of a turn card. With the action I really thought he was paying me off with a straight.

Hand 1) Don't bet your nut flush draws in EP with plenty of people to act behind you, imho. Even thought you have top and bottom pair to go with the heart draw I'd still check/call to see what happens on the turn.
Even saying that, your bet on the turn is good since the 2 is a blank, you're representing top or middle set or a monster draw, most players will fold to that without a big hand but Villain here is just bad.

Hand 2) Preflop is fine, double suited Kings is a premium hand even with the useless 2 as your dangler.
On the flop I prefer to make a continuation bet (as long as you've been doing this with a variety of hands.) Fold to a raise from anyone but an absolute moron. You can't back down after raising preflop since your hand is still possibly best. Imo.

Hand 3) I check-raise the pot on this flop. You don't want to let anyone see the turn card so charge draws the max. It also allows you to bet more on the turn to scare people out.
Looking at villains resulting hand I think he was always going to call. If the pot was bigger on the turn you may have pushed him out with a pot bet.

Hand 4) Fold the flop or represent the nuts (KQ) by raising/potting the flop.

I was playing at your table this evening for a while. You weren't playing many hands and came across as a nut-peddler. Meanwhile I was getting top set outdrawn by quads for a $600 pot

Good to see Omaha discussion is blossoming on this board, if only really really late at night. Here are my opinions, where I'll try to disagree as much as possible with what Luke said:

1) Don't 3-bet the flop. The first bet is fine. Here you had a read on the villain so you played it right, but if you want general advice assume he has top or middle set when he raises you.

2) Preflop raise is fine, you have a nice hand. Limping is also OK. I prefer to raise as you did.

3) I don't understand how you played this hand. Representing TJ by calling on the flop and betting on the turn is only likely to confuse your opponents and make them call you. The river bet is fine.

4) Underfulls aren't garbage, but this river bet is. The real problem with the underfull is that your opponent won't pay you off with a worse hand. Even bad players fold the straight here.
