Starting Sceduled Tasks from "Run"

    Does anybody know how I can start scheduled tasks from "Start -> Run". For instance if I type control.exe it brings up the control panel....

    Start -> run -> control schedtasks

    Is there an extension for schedtasks?? Like to run the firewall I just type firewall.cpl and it runs...

    No extensions, it just works like that.

    net start "Task Scheduler"

    Unless it's been explicitly disabled, in which case that won't work.

    IIRC there is something where it does save scheduled tasks somewhere and you can tell by looking fr a special character if it's on hold or not, but not user friendly or manageable. - bit like .LNK files really except you probably can't click on them
