Beacon valeting are fantastic. The type of cars they work on says it all really. Very professional bunch of fellas and the work they do really does border on almost obsessive they are that fussy...

Wouldn't get my car cleaned anywhere else.

    Guys,

How much is a full valet at Beacon?

Their website doesn't seem to be functioning correctly.

    Mike.

yeah the website put me off as theres no details on it,anyway how much did u pay.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 944 ✭✭✭Big Balls

It depends what you want.. I paid 35 quid for a mini valet which is a wash, chamois and tyre dressing and then they hoover the interior, dash etc and clean the glass.

You can pay up to 200 quid for stuff with them...

yeah big balls, i get a mini valet nearly everyweek and pay 15-20. but the beacon valet place look very expensive

Anyone ever used the valet place in Donnybrook, behind the Qwik-Fit?
Thinking of getting my car a little Christmas present...

Ever Ready is the name of those guys.. one of the original valet places in Dublin. Also a good place but I'd use Beacon first if I had to choose..

DrDre - you should've said you get a discount because 20 quid sounded very cheap to trust your pride and joy with!

For the price of a full valet why not spend your money on some good autoglym or meguires products,a proper sponge and chammois and do it all yourself in future?

I must agree with this. When I first got my car I paid 170 yoyos for a full valet and two weeks later it looked awful again. For about the same amount of money I was able to buy a pressure washer and a load of car care products that keep my car looking nice for months.

I very much so do my own car.. from time to time I get a professional job done. I've spent over 200 quid on car wax even... I am obsessed with cleaning it !!

I have used them too, and they are very good. Got my Alfa done before I put it on the market, and they did a very good job. The interior plastics and upholstery were spotless, and really made the car feel a couple of years younger. The exterior was excellent as well, but after a week or so living near lots of building work it was nearly back to square one :(

If he is the best guy in the city with all the top names on his books (even though he works for one garage) should he not make sure my car looks good whether I tell him you sent me or not?
