    Has anyone got a rough idea of cost for putting up a 4 rail post and rail fence - about 100metres in total ?

    I paid €220 for materials for 35M of three rail a few months ago. Haven't a clue what someone would charge to put it up tho.

    it will cost about a grand. I put up 3 rail fence myself last summer. From memory it cost about 700 for the timber (from Coillte). Throw in a few boxes of screws and gravel/cement if you are bedding the posts in concrete.
    Its a big enough job really if you are working on your own. Supply and fit would be between a grand and 1500 from memory.
