Very interesting clip, some liar. Whats the rest of that documentary like? I've watched "In Plane Sight" and it was so bad it put me off all conspiracy theories for a good while.

Depends if you like conspiracy theories or not. I've just watched the lot of it, on the basis of 'Know thine enemy', I guess. Cliff notes follow:

He claims terrorism is as only as dangerous as lightning strikes. He accuses all his fellow journalists of being incompetent for not investigating the big government conspiracy of causing the WTC attacks. He goes on to advocate that it was a contrived 'trigger' for war, planned or encouraged by the government in the same vein as the Mex-American, Spanish-American wars, Pearl Harbour, Vietnam and Desert Storm. (Wiseones2cents would like this guy, I think). He doesn't go anywhere near 9/11 until 23 minutes in.

Somehow he rates the chances that no military aircraft were in a position to affect the four flights as 54 million to one against. He does not attempt to explain how he gets this number. His source on the absence of military aircraft is a New York detective. The objective information this detective provides may be accurate, but he's blaming the DOD for conducting wargames on the day, to deliberately confuse NORAD responses. (Not as if it's that impossible a result: The German commanders were all at wargames on D-Day. I am not supporting his conspiracy argument, I should add). The theory behind this, as proposed by the cop, is to provide an excuse to invade Iraq and get oil.
Source #2, a former fighter pilot, who refuses to recognise W's legitimacy, claims that the neo-conservative cabal planned the Iraq op even before Bush became president. (He doesn't say how, I think we're supposed to regard him as legitimate simply because a couple of decades ago he flew fighters)

His next point of note (after the quoted TV bit) is that Bush took over a year to create the 9/11 commission, and named Kissinger to run it. When Kissinger pulls out, all subsequent appointees are inappropriate for whatever reason. The 9/11 commission report is described as a whitewash.

Going on, Israel, Egpyt warn the US that there are people in the US looking to conduct operations. The lack of capture of the hijackers after this is declared an indicator of either incredible incompetence, or complicity.

He then goes back to attacking perceived inaccuracies and omissions in the 9/11 Commission report. The Bin Laden Family connection is brought up, of course. And he goes back to purported incompetence of the mass media.

He concludes that the administration sets the FAA up as a 'fall guy' to take the blame for any perceived incompetences. He also advocates that the military should have picked up the hijacked aircraft heading for New York on their own, without relying on the FAA. (Ignoring, I guess, that the military is supposed to look out for external military threats).

The 'question of the Pentagon airplane' (i.e. argument that it wasn't a jetliner that hit the Pentagon) is also brought up, right at the end. Finish on patriotic historical footage, mixed in with Hitler, Saddam, and the media. His final shotgun blast is to the media for incompetence and lack of independence.

I think the term 'moonbat' was invented for this Zwicker chap.

As for the sound clip, I have no idea what Bush was thinking at the time, but a minute-by-minute analysis by this conspiracy site http://thewebfairy.com/killtown/sawplane.html indicates that it is theoretically possible that he saw the second airplane hit the tower before entering the classroom. (Which would have been the first airplane shown to hit). This site's conspiracy argument isn't that Bush lied about it, but instead uses the claim that he had seen the TV as evidence that he was complicit in the attacks.

    NTM

this is probably the best timeline out there...

    http://www.cooperativeresearch.org/timeline.jsp?timeline=complete_911_timeline&day_of_9/11=bush

It was clear that Bush had been told of the first crash shortly after it happened yet went ahead with the school press shoot and sat on his ass in there while people were dying.

Meanwhile Cheny was being forciably removed from the Oval Office to a bunker by the Secret Service yet Bush was allowed remain at the same place.

At that press op where he claims he saw it on TV is just tosh. Usual speech crap tbh.
