I'm going to milan in the new year. Could anybody recommend some things to do, places to go...?

Well, the two things that spring immediately to mind are:
    (1) See the Il Duomo cathedral.
    (2) If you're interested in football, take in a match in the San Siro.

Here is a good guide to Milan, from Lonely Planet. A map of Milan city centre can be found here.

    Hope these help. :)

There is an art museum (meant to be very famous) that you have to book in advance. If your into art you'll know what its called. I'm not and I'm just tank full we didnt know we had to book it and didnt get in.

A match is a defo. Unless Inter (best time in milan) or AC are playing a top team tickets should be handy.

Also eat out. Food is fantatic
