if you get a ticket for block B you might be able to stroll into the standing area if security isnt to tight, i remember doing this at a concert once and managed to get into the pit and all. it can be done.

Assuming you know 2 people with standing tickets you can just get one of them to bring out the other's ticket and give it to you. Annoying though, if you have to go back out for any reason.

Usually security at the Point is pretty tight tho

It will be much tighter at the strokes since so many seated people will want to go down. The price difference is minimal. At the rolling stones it was easy to slip down. They were not looking out for people doing in, probably thinking why would somebody pay €50 extra for seated if they wanted standing, and it was an older crowd who would prefer seated.

You could probably do it. Its not like the rules or there because someone died in The Point or anything.

if you are in block b (downstairs in the point) go up to the security/supervisor at the front and say it to them (nicely). Someone always wants to sit down and then just swap your tickets and everyone is happy. Dont make it blantantly obivious though. If one person is seen swapping tickets they all want to swap tickets.
